Frequently asked questions.
Quick, straight answers to what Treasure Valley homeowners ask us most — and a free estimate whenever you’re ready.
-
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We provide free, no-pressure, on-site estimates across Meridian and the Treasure Valley. We measure the run, talk through materials and gates, and leave you an honest written quote. Request one online and we’ll get you on the schedule.
-
What kinds of fence do you install?
We install wood and cedar (privacy, picket, and ranch rail), low-maintenance vinyl, galvanized and black-coated chain-link, and powder-coated ornamental aluminum and iron — plus custom gates to match any of them.
-
Which fence material is right for me?
It comes down to why you’re fencing and how much upkeep you want. Cedar is warm and private, vinyl is the low-maintenance favorite, chain-link is the budget and pet-friendly pick, and ornamental metal gives a bold, upscale line. We’ll walk you through the trade-offs on-site.
-
Do you build and install gates?
Yes — walk gates, double gates, sliding drive gates, and automatic openers with keypad entry. Gates take the most abuse on a fence, so we build them square, hang them on solid posts, and set them to swing true.
-
Can you repair an existing fence instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Leaning or rotted posts, storm and wind damage, sagging gates, or a few bad sections can usually be repaired or replaced piece by piece. We’ll tell you honestly when a repair makes sense and when a replacement is the better value.
-
Do I need a permit or HOA approval?
It depends on your city and neighborhood. Many Treasure Valley subdivisions have HOA height, style, or setback rules, and some projects need a permit. We’ll flag what applies to your property and help you get the layout approved before we build.
-
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Meridian and serve the Treasure Valley — including Boise, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, and the surrounding communities. Not sure if you’re in range? Ask when you request your estimate.
